Wireless connection problem

I have lost wireless connection between my live box and lap top. I'm on windows xp can anyone tell me how to reconnect?

Wireless network connection status has the live box as the network, speed 54.0Mbps, very strong signal, status acquiring ip address.

havent you goto press a sync button on the live box to pair them up?
reboot lappy and when you try to connect to the live box press the sync button on the live box at the same time, you should be ok then

Before you try to fix what may not be broken, try turning both off, then back on one at a time - livebox first. It may be that something has just got locked up, happens a lot.

He has tried both of those. Getting him to disconect the wireless network, press 1 on livebox to go into pairing mode then connect to livebox, retyping the code.

Been on to Orange apparently my computer settings need changing, a techie is ringing me tomorrow:rolleyes:

The techie has been on the phone for 50 mins trying this that and the other, still no joy, says he'll ring back with other ideas :rolleyes: anyone else fancy a go.
