I'm looking to take my GF away around the 8th Nov as it's her birthday, times are hard so not looking to spend too much but still make it a reasonably nice/comfy break
I'm looking for somewhere sunny, not too far away flying out of London.
Was thinking of the Canaries, but open to suggestions.
Thanks in advance!

this article might help - I've never managed a break in Nov, as I'm tied to school hols, - so I'm jealous - enjoy yourselves!Reason for edit? Can spell, can't type!0 -
We are going on the 1st Nov (back on the 8th) to Tunisia with Thomas Cook. Sahara Beach hotel, AI, flying from Stansted, under £600 for the 2 of us.
We've been to Tunisia in early October and it was very hot so are hopeful of some nice sun - although the days are short (sunset around 6pm).Some days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree!

can second using directline - they are very price competitive, if you're looking for a deal, but don't need lots of customer service to hold your hand.Reason for edit? Can spell, can't type!0

Thanks saveapenny, I like the idea of AI.
Excuse my ignorance, but how do I go about finding those deals? I found the Thompson site confusing..
Which would be the good 4* hotel?
Is there anything decent available for 7 days leaving on the 8th Nov?
Thank yousaveapenny wrote: »If you can do Luton 5th -12th Ryanair have a flight for £104 to Lanzarote for 2 if you can get away with cabin luggage only and have a visa electron card

If you go to the thomsons site and click hotel then use the drag down
for your dates but I think that hotel was only available on the 5th- 12th or 12th-19th http://www.thomson.co.uk/hotels.html
The Riu is a good brand 4* AI but I'm sorry I got it wrong that Riu is only a 3* but you can use the 4* hotel next door as well
Here is a direct link to the Riu site http://www.riu.com/en-uk/Paises/spain/lanzarote/hotel-riu-olivina-resort/index.jsp for more information
