Who should I get to give me away???

My dad died 11 years ago, and although close to my mum I wanted one of my brothers to do it, but couldn't decide. I have two brothers, so have split the duties. One is walking me in and the other is doing the speeches. The younger one is much more confident than the older so he was happy to do the speeches, so all sorted. They both will be 'kitted out' and we thought it was worth the one extra suit hire to do it that way.:rotfl:Ahahah got my signature removed for claiming MSE thought it was too boring :rotfl:0

I'm having my brother give me away, as I don't have a dad/dad figure to do it, my best friend is probably having both her brothers. Both walking her down, and then doing a joint speech.
It's your wedding, but do what you want, only goes so far, I can understand how you don't want your wedding to be a source of upset for anyone.
I like the idea of one walks down the aisle and the other does speeches, also them doing both jointly. What I would say is don't worry too much about tradition, go for whatever will keep you and your family happiest. My brother would be really uncomfortable doing a speech, as would H2B. I don't want anyone feeling uncomfortable, so we're not having any speeches - just a simple toast from the best man and thats it.0 -
Either both do it or one walks you down the aisle and the other one gives the father of the bride speech (assuming you're having speeches of course!). I go for both walking you down the isle, son as page boy and mum giving the speech. All bases covered!0

Ask who YOU want to give you away. It's your day after all......0
