Put a mobile on ebay, now want to end auciton!!!

I put a mobile phone on ebay with no reserve and starting price 99p, i also done the title bold,so , the total came to £1.05. About 2 hours later, I got a phone call from a buyer who wants the phone and offered me good money. I can end the item now as its been up for 2 hours or so and there are no bids either.

However, would I get my insertion fees back?

Never ended an item before.

If you end an item, you won't receive the listing fees back.

PS There are a !!!!load of scammers on ebay who specifically target ebayers selling mobile phones.

If you wanted to be safe (well safer than doing the transaction off ebay) you could change the listing to a BIN. As soon as you do it, let the buyer know and they can buy through ebay.

I thought I read on another thread you weren't going to list on e-bay anymore because.....
a) you're underage
b) something to do with paying tax because you buy to sell

When talking about e-bay you have BID on an item, not BIDDED

Thanks. I had to say it because it really bugs me when reading posts on this board, not that its likely to change anyones way of writing posts

OK. You all have got the wrong end of the stick here. The buyer is from eBay, his someone who works with my brother and was interested in the phone, there is nothing unsafe about this, I'm actually giving him the phone first and his going to pay me a few days later.

Btw my age has nothing to do with this, please read the previous threads. I use my sisters account who is well over 18. Before you jump to any other conclusions, I have her permission and she knows what I bid on anyways.

Oh yeah, this phone is one of my 'old' phones, I never bought this off eBay or anyone else.
