All inclusive spending money

My hubby and I are off to Tenerife in a couple of weeks time to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary.
We're staying all inclusive, but I can't decide how much money to take with us. I know it's a bit of a 'how long is a piece of string' type question, but how much have you/would you take for a week?
We're not planning on doing any trips, mainly going to the nearby beach so possibly just buying a bit of lunch maybe, and a meal out on our anniversary.
Also, we can't decide on whether to take all Euro's, or 50/50 Euro/sterling, or travellers cheques....Euro or Sterling?
Sorry..... so many questions! Hope someone can make my mind up for me

It depends on if you are going to take most of your meals and drinks in the all inclusive resort really.
I would just take your debit card/credit card and take some money out a cashpoint, with most things being included it's not like the charges for taking out cash will be a big factor as you won't need to spend a lot.
Don't take with you more cash than is covered by your travel insurance. Maybe change 50 euros or so before you go so you have some cash if you need it on arrival.
Check out the articles on travel money on the main site, if you have time before you go you could use one of the cheaper options suggested.0
