Oh and welcome2.gifTrinity_Bleu - here is a christmas tree so the lovely ladies don't miss you. :xmastree:Sorry to hear about your redundancy, and hope you find something else soon. In the meantime, just imagine how organised your house will be after a week or two on the flylady thread!!

    Morning all...
Just dropping by before sister of doom arrives. (Hope she's in a better mood today...).

In the meantime, I have managed to do the following:

Tuesday ~ brats room.. if you have no brats do your own room!

    Level One
    [STRIKE]Declutter the floors
Strip the bedding get it washed dried and the beds remade![/STRIKE]
    Level Two
    [STRIKE]vacuum the floors[/STRIKE]
    Straighten a cupboard of clothing
    [STRIKE]Wipe the paintwork[/STRIKE]
    Level Three
    Tidy a box of 'stuff'
    [STRIKE]binbag dance!
    dust and deweb[/STRIKE]

Pretty good for an hour's work, I thought! I've done most of my dailies, and have some eBay sales to package up too.

Hope everyone has a good day...OH is still suffering with the swine flu - he's occasionally up and about, but is generally in his bed. Says he feels a bit better. He was due to run his first marathon on Sunday, so he's a bit disappointed that he can't...poor thing.

    Anyway, I'd better be off
    Take care

  • Hello! We had a lie in today, DH had a really long day at work y'day and was really tired and his cold has moved to his chest, so I stayed in bed so I wouldn't disturb him by getting up (yeah right, I just wanted a lie in too!)

I've washed up and put my cleaning cloths in the bathroom so I can do that in a mo.

Also want to get on with decluttering, will move furniture later so i can make a start of under the sofa

    Empty kitchen filing cabinet

Tuesday ~ brats room.. if you have no brats do your own room!

    Tidy a box of 'stuff'
    [STRIKE]

    HHG[/STRIKE]

    This week
    Queen Victoria stitches out
    find paint charts
    [STRIKE]empty tomato pots[/STRIKE]
time in RofD - must try harder
List 2 more items on ebay

    To buy
    Top DS3
    Winter jacket DS1&2
    joggers DS1
    natural collection order

    Research
    Desk DS2
    Cloakroom sink
    Cupboard door DS3
    Degree course DS1
    Kids savings
    Water filter

Did really well, DS2 room done and dusted around in DS3 room - his bed is not due for changing yet and DS1's bed was changed on the weekend.

Feeling really on top of the flying and have finally got it down to roughly an hour of dailies and an hour on each flying list. It is the decluttering and sorting which takes so much time but is worth it. Planning on spending all day Thursday in the RofD.

Lunch now and then some time in the front garden in the sun before school pick up time.

Holly - I like the way schools phone now if your kids are not there. Glad all was ok.

    Hi Rosepink

Decided on a 6month no new clothes/shoes challenge because during the sumnmer/autumn/winter clothes changeover/decluttering (ongoing) I noticed loads of stuff I'd forgotten I'd bought in the sales last year.

I think someone else is doing a whole year no clothes buying challenge - don't think I can last that long!
