What can I put in a hamper for this family please

I would do a family fun night hamper with a board game, dvd/blockbuster vouchers, girly pamper bits for your niece (maybe she can persuade the boys to paint their nails lol!
) goodies like sweets, popcorn, drinks etc. Maybe a pack of playing cards?
I'd maybe give her the box with ladies things in private, rather than as a present as if she opens that in front of her dad/brothers she will be very embarassed, especially as she's so shy. )'They only had one cow!'0 -
I had planned "the box" done be done in private can imagine her poor face if not. Think I will go along with the games hamper it will go down well just sometimes need moral support when buying stuff so thanks for that

Try charity shops for games, sometimes they get new sealed board games.

Instead of giving her 'something' why not a voucher from you to spend a few hours of girly time together? you could always paint her nails or give her a facial from your freebies if you have any when she comes over.Loving the sunny days!0

Gosh would that be ok to use left over freebies for her? Do you think people would find it wrong of me, perhaps I could make her a pamper bag of travel size stuff from Asda etc.Nothing Changes if Nothing Changes0

I did one of those for my mate - I bought a cheap and cheerful make-up bag and filled it with travel-sized Dove body washes, a travel-sized Tresemme shampoo and conditioner, and a travel-sized body spray - and it went down a treat!
Also last Xmas I did another bag for the same mate, bought a small sequined make-up bag and used a bottle of body wash and shampoo I got from a posh hotel - some of these make gorgeous gifts if you have anyone or know anyone who has - along with sone nice lip balm etc. A small pamper bag like that can be done v cheaply and makes a nice pressie!*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200 -
Avon may be worth a look. www.avon.uk.com If you can't find your local rep then you can order on line, free delivery for orders over £20 with the code from Quidco and 10% cashback.
Jewellry from £1.50
Watches from £7
Novelty money boxes, jewellry boxes, ring holders, alarm clocks, coin sorters, novelty pc mouses (or should that be mice :rotfl:), soft toys, funky duck bath radio, projector torches, High School Musical/the Simpsons/Ben 10 goodies, bags, mugs, scarves, socks, undies, toiletries (of course), etc etc List is endless. Plenty to choose from £5-8 mark
Like others, think a big tin of choccies to share plus a bottle of Dad's favourite booze would be an excellent idea. Maybe even put some crackers in loose too.
Hope you all have a great time.

Thanks for all these ideas everyone I am usually good at trecking down the bargains but this year I seem to have so much to do, could that be something to do with shopping for my 4 under 4yrs old treasures that call me grandma (well those that can speak do!!)Nothing Changes if Nothing Changes0

Hi, an aunt does each 'family' a family bag each xmas and gears it to the interests/ages/sexes of that particular family. It doesn't follow a theme as such just different bits and pieces, so for us mum, dad, boy (9), girl (6) there might be things like sour sweets and a glass with football on for my hubby, relaxing bath bombs and honey soap or a book on how to entertain kids in school hols for me, magic gloves or a puzzle book for ds and a cuddly toy for dd.
The bag she does my MIL & FIL would include things like pencils for FIL who makes pine furniture and is always using them to mark the wood, a scrabble dictionary or pack of cards as they like playing games and would include a tin of dog food or biscuits for the family dog.0 -
Tesco had inflatable floor games reduced to 98p, snakes and ladders and ludo. They look great fun.
