Rough price for moving a couple of doors

Our hall, kitchen and living/dining room doors are laid out as below;

What we'd like to achieve is;

after.png

The door from the hall to kitchen is no longer there. And the door between the kitchen and living/dining room has been moved right by about 18-20ins. A new doorway has also been created in the hall to lead straight into the living room. This may or may not involve moving a radiator slightly.

All walls involved are plasterboard.

Anybody got any idea what sort of price where looking at for this?

    The plastering will be about £150 to £200

    Id say moving and rehanging the doors would be about the same plus new door cases architrave skirting board.
  • Are the walls loadbearing? When you say they are plasterboard,is it timber studding or are the boards stuck to a brick/block wall?

    I don't think it's load bearing. It's timber studding. Where were putting the door in the hallway, there actually used to be a door there.

    In that case,then about 400 to 500,depending on materials required.

    Not too bad. Maybe get it a bit cheaper if we get it done as part of the kitchen.
