Detox suggestions?

I have decided to do a detox for a week as my skin is very tired looking and has alot of breakouts and I generally feel tired and run down. I've read up on what I should have cut out and the general rule is no dairy, no meat, no processed food. So its fruit, veg, water. I can make soups, do lots of juices, jacket potatoes (no butter) but I'm stuck for any other recipes has anybody got any inspiration as I need to plan ahead to help me stick to it.?
Thanks

Smoothies are great, porridge (with raisins not sugar), salads, wholemeal pasta with a home made sauce, brown rice.
Also remember you will feel worse before you feel better, (headches, tiredness etc) I think they call it a healing crisis, so make sure you don't have much planned for the first few days.
Get some lavender in - great for those headaches, it also helps your body and mind balance themselves.
Make sure you get lots of fresh air and sleep too :)
On a personal note, I've noticed when I really make the effort to drink at least 2 litres of water a day, my skin is loads better, it really makes a difference.

I did the Carol Vordamen detox (dont forget to sign the petition if you haven't) for 2 weeks - really bad caffeine withdrawal headache which lasted 2 or 3 days but after that I felt fantastic. This means no meat, fish, dairy, sugar, wheat. Baked bananas was a very welcome treat one week into it (in foil, with honey, lemon and raisins).

From memory, I ate veggie chilli, couscous with roasted vegetables, soups - pumpkin, minestrone, lots of fresh fruit and salads, some really horrid pumpernikel breads, lots of sunflower seeds, houmous, guacamole,

You can get hold of the book very cheaply now - I saw it for £2 in boots the other day, and it is often in Charity shops very cheap. It is worth getting for the recipies - plus there are various supplements that you need to take to help the process along/ensure you are vitamined up.

The Vegan Family website may have a few recipies to inspire :

There is a 14 day detox eating plan that may give you some ideas on the BBC site:

a nice recipe i saw on the tv the other day, was to fry pumpkin and sunflower seeds (i also used almonds and sesame seeds) in a tablespoon of honey, and a tablespoon of soy sauce. Sounds strange, but is a very good healthy treat while on a detox diet, fry and then pop in a bowl and leave to cool, a bit sticky but tastes great. I also drink at least 2 litres of water a day, and have at least 5 different fruit and veg.
