It's just arrived. Looks very very nice. Just trying to work out how to tune it in. Sky Plus code (if anyone needs it) is 646.
Congratulations, you deserve it!
"Just" waiting on a call from Freemans to arrange delivery of my TV, I will give them the 7 working days then get back in touch with my local Trading Standards.0 -

All I recieved was a call from consumer direct consumer advice line and local trading standards who said they couldn't do anything but both people said my complaint would be forwarded to the trading standards offices in the region of the retailer.
Am I the only one not recieved a phone call aboutwhen my TV should be coming. Please help.
Zelnik is right. As long as you stressed the Misleading Price (as opposed to the failed delivery) you should be OK. I wish you all luck in getting your TVs.

Hi all,
I'm in 2 minds whether to buy the 26" LCD IDTV from them using the 25% Essentials discount code, as it's supposedly come back into stock at Freemans!
Once again they decided not to put any terms and conditions or even an asterisk * on the offer! But I'm just comtemplating whether it's worth all the hassle.Target Savings: Deposit on my first property by September 2010>>>[Savings: 40.00% Complete]<<<[Debt: £0.00p]0 -
Is there a reason for having 2 threads on this Freemans fiasco? Especially as comments or questions on one thread are being answered on another. It just causes confusion and does not serve any useful purpose.

You will see that the title of this thread is UPDATE. The other thread was the original offer.0 -

Yes I know the new thread is UPDATE but why start a new thread when people are still responding to the existing one? Other threads on the forum that are similar are merged to avoid this unnecessary duplication. Other closed threads continue for additional comments what is different about this one?

I originally used the Essentials 25% code, but at the order confirmation screen only 20% was deducted from the price!!!
When I emailed Freemans to tell them this was rather misleading, they then informed me I had used an invalid code and my order had not been processed.
Several emails later - and complaining to consumer direct- finally got a call from Freemans offering to re-instate my order, but with only 20% discount.
Apparantly the Essentials range should only be clothing.
Need the TV so took their offer, still happy to get 20% rather than nowt!...the north will rise again...0 -
ordered a washing machine with the 30% code.
got confirmation of price with the 30% applied.
checked credit card statement and they have charged the full amount.
phoned them and was told that the small print says not applicable to electrical goods and that the email was a mistake. very rude customer service told me I had no chance of getting it at the discounted price despite the email and despite delivery already having been arranged.
what a bunch of useless people.0
