  • I spent £3 on lunch from the canteen at work today.

    I have had a very good day today as I found £20 on the way to work today. Not sure what I am going to do with it yet but £1 went on a lottery ticket in case the luck continued.:D

    That £20 is mine! Thanks for finding it! What do you mean 'a £20 note can't possibly have blown all the way to Glasgow from Leeds and by the way why did you have a scottish £20 note?' Honestly, anyone would think you didn't believe me :rolleyes: Doobey doobey do :whistle:

    Ooh lucky PP!

    Well I did spend £2.40 today on lunch from M&S. But on the upside I took an aerial back to argos that I bought a couple of weeks ago and got a refund of £14.99.

  • Lucky you pp, although that will be a mere drop in the ocean compared to the lotto win i'm gonna have tonight!!! :rotfl:

    And lol laura2481 :rotfl::rotfl:

    I have spent £4.54 today but that should be me now for the week, she says trying to convince herself!

    And not even thinking about Xmas pressies. We've told everyone we're not 'doing' Xmas as we'll be on our delayed honeymoon :T so hoping to get away with a bare minimum of gifts.

    I have still to check my lotto ticket fingers crossed it is a winner but I think the odds are that I am more likely to get stuck by lightning twice than win the jackpot!
