I've only just started selling on ebay and I have had good feedback so far. The last few things I have sent I haven't had feedback just wondering how long do you normally wait for feedback or should I place positive feedback first.
Thanks

Some people don't tend to leave feedback but if you haven't heard from them then i would be inclined to send an email asking if they are happy with the item etc just to make sure that there isn't a problem.
I'm still waiting for feedback for stuff i have bought and sold from ages ago.
If i'm buying i leave feedback as soon as i have received the item. If i am a seller i don't tend to leave feedback until they do.

I used to give feedback straight away as soon as the buyer paid for the item. But more often than not I found they didn't give any feedback back.
Now, just like carrie483 said, I tend to wait until they left feedback and if I'm buying I leave feedback as soon as I have received the item
It seem to work better some how.0 -

Never ask directly for feedback as you may not like what you receive. If you want to give your buyers a kind of reminder then a polite e-mail saying something like " Hi. I am e-mailing you to make sure you received your purchase and are happy with the item." Usually instead of e-mailing you back they will just leave feedback. If they do e-mail you back saying they have got the item and are happy I can't see it would hurt to then mail them back and say "Ok I'm glad you are happy. I wil now leave feedback for you." Then they might leave it for you.
Remember though feedback is optional, no-one has to leave it at all if they don't want to/can't be bothered.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0
