Impressed with Dyson customer service!

My washing machine broke down on Thursday (about 9 years old and not under warranty)

I rang dyson helpline - very polite friendly staff. The first slot for an engineer was 21st Oct, but they said they would try to get one earlier - very apologetic and said they understood that no washing machine was an urgent problem.

Friday I got a call saying an engineer would be with me on Monday. Very pleased!!

Also the charge is £92 including VAT- this covers callout, labour, all parts used, 1 year warranty on all parts used, and full service of the machine. I personally think this is a good price.

I am very impressed, especially considering they don't make these machines any more.

  • I called them about my hoover not working. Staff were again really polite and helpful and had an engineer out at my house within 3 days.

Did they not ask why you were calling Dyson and refer you to the Hoover helpline?:D

Sorry - only joking - my DH works for Dyson and it's been drummed into me over and over - it's NOT a hoover, it's a vacuum cleaner

Can't see "dysoning the carpets" catching on myself...... lol
