forgot to say i got the light colour one, it's creamy with light beige markings (marbling), i saw there was a dark one on the site too.

Just wanted to say thanks for the advice on this forum, I also bought a flat pestle and mortar recently from Made from Marble after reading this site. Its a great product and really good value £35 including free delivery. So chuffed when it arrived so well packaged.

I see online there is now a website where you can purchase the pestle and mortar as used by Nigel Slater, designed and produced at John Julian Design, Wiltshire.

I can't put the link as I'm a newbie but put in your search engine 'John Julian Design' and it will come up.
