binatone sat nav help

hiya

being really stupid again. bought a sat nav and have been using it fine. last used it on the 2nd to get from mine to a friends. switched it off when i got there and havent needed it on again since. went to use it this afternoon and ok the battery is dead as i usually use it wtih it plugged into the charger, but i cant get the screen to come on. the red light at the top of the sat nav still lights up when i connect it to the in car charger or the computer charger but i cant get it to switch on. i have tried switching it on and off via the small switch at the back but nothing seems to make a difference. it is only about 4 months old so is there anything i can do with it. cant find the receipt which is typical and i need it to work for next friday as im driving to glasgow on my own for the first time and am not totally sure of the way.

any suggestions as to what to do to get it to work would be appreciated or im goign to be buying a new one on friday morning before i go home for the weeknd.

thanks

  • oops, never noticed the reset button. its a b430, just going to try the resest button now. nope pressed and held it in for about 10 seconds. its now also been charging via the computer for half an hour so should have some charge.
