I purcahsed a DAEWOO tv from Sainsburys in February 2008 that has stopped working (it will not urn on).
What are my rights in getting it repaired or replaced please (if I have any!)

Check that it's not something like the fuse or a faulty remote.
Then, I would write to Sainsbury's customer services outlining the problem, and request a remedy as per the SOGA. They are within their rights to ask you to get an engineer's report confirming the fault, and that it was caused by a faulty component which should have lasted longer.Squirrel!If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you.
