You would have thought there would have been information on the paypal website about this!
Have you looked? When dealing with the CSA its important to note that it is commonly accepted as unfit for purpose, and by default this also means the staff are unfit for purpose.0 -
Paypal will take upto 30 days to make a decision on who is right in your case (though if its overly complex they do keep the right to take longer). They will notify you of the outcome when a decision is reached, return money if that is the decision and close the case

Phone paypal and remind them that their deadline has passed, they should close the dispute then in your favour.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. No - i thought "hey ill ask those in MSE before i look myself" - of course i looked - it just said they had asked the seller to respond by Oct 9th and that was it. On the bits about opening a case it just said they would "make a decision and let me know"
not very helpful was it?0 -
Paypal often let their own deadlines slip past, the same happens for the 21 day hold thingy and often sellers have to phone up and remind them and then it's done instantly.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
