RAM type?

Hi,

I know its probably an old question but I want to upgrade my RAM and am unsure what type I have got, I know its 512MB but thats about it!

Can I get any stick of DDR memory? How do I find out the speed? Can different speed RAMs work together?

Many thanks.

if you go to www.crucial.com then you can choose the correct type by either choosing your model of PC of they have a system scanner to tell you

no need to actually buy it there though !!

Download PCwizard and it will tell you what you have fitted and how many free slots are available in your motherboard. The system will run at the speed of the slowest RAM fitted.
