we were due to get our npower prepaymeter removed from our new house on wed 7th oct. a scottish power man came to carry out the work. just when he was ready to change it he said the fuse was moulded in and would need an engineer first to remove it and replace it. thats fine, he said we'd probably get a call in a couple of hours. by yesterday still no call so phoned npower, the guy told me the engineers would need to phone me to arrange a new time. i said yes but i'd been waiting 2 days already. he said it would be the start of the week, but tbh he sounded like he just made it up. should i wait? do you think this advice is correct or is he just talking out of his rectum?

why not give npower a call on Monday and ask. Perhaps there wasn't an engineer available that day to remove the fuse. I'm sure if you call them, then they can arrange a day/time.0

yes i know thats what i was trying to do when i called the first time to see what was happening. it appears the engineer has to contact you, but as no contact has been made i was calling to see what was happeningPink_fluff wrote: »why not give npower a call on Monday and ask.
