creating a table in ebay

Hi

Can anyone help me please? I figured this messageboard is a damn sight more helpful than the rubbish ebay helppages - I'm sick of looking and getting nowhere!!!

I have a large number of records which I am wanting to sell as a batch on ebay. I want to create a list defining the artist, title, year of release, catalogue no. But I can't remember how to do it.

I managed to do so about 18 months ago, but can I remember how I done it?!!!! Definitely not!

I think I may have used excel or a table in word, but then again I mightn't have!!!

Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Your best bet would be to get hold of Microsoft Excel and input all the data into a spreadsheet.

Once you've done that, I'd export it into Word and then save it as HTML, then paste it into the listing.

However, if you're only putting the data in for the sale, I'd just type them directly into a Word table.

I thought that that would be the best option but how do I get that into ebay? Still keeping the column and text formats.

Cool! I think I can manage that.

So I would just type everything in a word table, save as html, copy and paste into where I put all the details in the selling window.

I shall try that this weekend.

No problem. If you have any problems with this, I will be around most of the weekend (sad life!).

BTW - you could just copy and past the table from Word into the design view, then you don't have to worry about HTML at all.

Unfortunately, due to ebay not fully supporting Mac Operating Systems, I have to do everything in html and am unable to use any of their free tools. So basically it takes me forever to get new stuff onto ebay, although when selling records I just use the html coding from previous items.

But hell, I love a challenge. It just makes it all more worthwhile when I get a sale!!!!
