Small rant, sorry!

Sold a top on Ebay, after five days the buyer messaged to say it hadn't arrived. I replied the same day saying 'Item was posted on 29th Sept, however please be aware postal strikes may have affected delivery'.
Two days later, another message, item has still not arrived. I replied same day again, 'So sorry. Please check at your sorting office if they have any parcels for you, as it's not unheard of for posties not to put a card through. If it's not there I will refund you immediately'.
Next day a message 'I have been to sorting office, they have no parcel for me and if you don't refund me immediately I will raise a PP dispute (!)'
Well, I read that one at 2am after a VERY hard day, and my patience was a little tried as I had already promised a refund. I replied 'I fail to see why you would need to threaten me with a PP dispute when I have already quite plainly offered to refund you. I shall do so immediately, and may I suggest you use your refund to invest in a dictionary which you will be able to use to look up 'patient' and 'reasonable'.'
I then processed the refund.
Naturally (GRRR) the next day she neutralled me saying 'Item never arrived and seller very rude and abrupt'!
No mention of the full and unconditional refund!
I have replied to her feedback, and follwed up the one I left for her as well, and now that I have ranted I shall put it behind me.
Moral of the story - always lick a***

I can sense you were tired when you sent the last email, but it does come across a little 'uppity' and I think you were lucky to get away with just a neutral to be honest.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Well to be honest I would have left you neutral aswell, infact if you had been rude to me then I would have left negative feedback.When dealing with the CSA its important to note that it is commonly accepted as unfit for purpose, and by default this also means the staff are unfit for purpose.0

actually i think you were bang on with your reply. There is never any need to demand a refund in such a manner especially when you offered one in your last message anyway,
I hate bad manners and perhaps if its pointed out to them they may re-think there approach !

It is immaterial when your buyer is the only one who can leave a non positive.
Yes we all get teed off with some buyers, but sometimes the wisdom I was given on here many years about about logging off and forgetting it for a few hours before replying is a good thing.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. It's for precisely this reason I'm glad we run our ebay business as a couple, not just one of us. I like to think my vocabulary is quite varied, but there have been several times in the past I've wanted to send a sting of obsceneties to ASQ senders, especially the ones that insist on txt spk (so tempting to say they should set buying a dictionary as a higher priority than buying some Pokemon cards
)
TD keeps me friendly though... unless they deserve it

You're lucky not to get a neg. You wouldn't put up with a shop-assistant being rude, whether you got a refund or not.
I probably would have neg'd you!Wins: Avene Protective Hydrating Cream; 2 x Calvin harris Tickets @ iTunes Festival.
