Asda 'beats M&S in clothes sales'

Gosh.;) I am trying to visualise you now.I love ASDA's clothes, I like the ranges, I'm sat here in my ASDA jumper and nice and snug and warm and don't need to put the heating on, only cost £12 and its lovely, I could of knitted one but I can't knit. My bad. M&S is brilliant for underwear (the actually do my size for starters so thats a bonus!) ASDA is rubbish for underwear though and wouldn't fit my nipples in their underwear, I wish they'd cater for the "larger lady".
The nipples comment is throwing me. I am not sure how to respond.0 -

Well blessed ??
I am a bit out of touch with nipple sizes, Thought they were all the size of a 10p (except during breastfeeding).
I have written it before, but I saw some hemmed nipples that belonged to a well known celeb. They had stretched due to all the breast augmentation she had had over the years. Then, new image, so new smaller, rounder breats were needed....and the surgeon had to hem the nipples.
The scary thing was that they were multi faceted (sp?) like a many sized hexagon....errr...so not a hexagon but YKWIM? (I can't think of the right word).
They were dead too. Cold or hot? Her nipples had no idea. Useful things nipples.....for knowing the temp of the moment.0 -

Seriously, it is one of the reasons Asda sells so much stuff. Larger sizes are still few and far between on the High St..0 -
I think I can guess the celeb :think:I came in to this world with nothing and I've still got most of it left. :rolleyes:0

Off topic slightly I just remembered a few years ago the "George" from Asda, G Davies had a special office desk made smaller than normal as he is a small bloke it makes him look bigger when people walk in the office. I know the firm that made it.I came in to this world with nothing and I've still got most of it left. :rolleyes:0

Talking of George, he has just set up his new retail venture called GIve.
Only one of each size out on display and lots of service. Quite pricey stuf too.
Was meant to go to London today for a recky but couldn't. ...so I can't say what it was like. I will go look next Weds.0 -
Nothing to do with style (I wouldn't know anyway) but the Asda stuff I have seen is lower quality than the equivalent in Sainsburys and Tescos in things like baby vests and kids tees - the Asda stuff is often pretty much wear it and bin it.I think....0

SOME stuff is. Other stuff is okay. Example - I am wearing a pair of their jeans right now and I bought them there approx 10 years ago when they first started doing clothes, I kid you not. And although they're a bit frayed at the bottom they still look quite smart and respectable when they'd had a wash and an iron. Can't remember how much they were but they wouldn't have been more than £20.
On the flip side I've had jeans from places like Next and Topman that have became nothing more than rags after 6-12 months, and they weren't bought for £20 either, I can tell thee!

I have a couple of tops from asda I've had since I first got ill....almost six years I guess, they are going strong. They are thin t shirt material: which I prefer.0
