Are storage heaters expensive to run??

    I used my storage heaters one year, never again after the huge bill. then i settled fmeters to keep an eye on it and move it around the flat.or a couple of the gads filled portable raidiators. they aren't too expensive and you can buy one of the electricity meters to keep an eye on how much it costs. also, easy to move arounmd the flat.
    Nice to save.

    I don't know much about the cost of running storage heaters but if you had gas you would have and annual charge to service the boiler which you don't have to pay with electric.

    My elderly mother has these in a new bungalow and believe it or not they work out cheaper than a parkray coal fire in her old house and much easier for an elderly person.
