i got a letter today from a company calling themselves 'pace forward', they are part of 'tessera'.
why would they be contacting me?
brief history - i pay 'tessera' every month, never missed a payment on an old debt [stands at about £600]. i spoke to them recently and was unable to offer more than what i am paying per month. all agrred as fine and they continue to take payments from my account.
today i get a letter from this 'pace forward' company [stating in the small print at the bottom part of tessera] asking they are trying to reach me regarding a personal matter and if the recipient of the letter isnt me to contact them anyway [to pass on a forwarding address].
why would they be lookming for me as i am paying and havent defaulted?
phoned them earlier only to hold for 20 mins before getting a 'this call cannot be connected' message. so why put me on hold if the offices are closed. in the vain hope of charging me for the call? i get free calls @ home so
to them.
anyone had any dealings with them? or any ideas why i seem to be being chased for something i am paying for?

the girl was so nice when i first spoker with her 'i dont know why they have contacted you'
i explain ive got an arrangement that was updated in july [im certain it was july].
the she gets shirty with me, they last spoke to me in jan [tessera not pace forward]. i insist it was a couple of months ago as i remember the call. i put it at july.
then she wants my income and outgoings, i tell her its none of her business what other debts i have. she isnt so much mrs nice person now.
its none of their damn business and i state i wish to deal via paper and not the phone but am told because of postal strikes they cant do this and will call me monday.
so i shall ignore the call.
i am paying them the agreed amount so they can !!!! right off big style if they want any more out of me.
to be honest with you excuse my attitude right now but everything can !!!! off as far as im concerned. There's someone in my head, but it's not me0 -
