Heavenli, I don't quite understand why you are so annoyed when you have two links to other competition sites on your homepage, also you call us on mse cheats, why? is it because the answer is on here? Do you think the others don't speak to each other? I comp on mse everyday and have found and use a number of different sites that I would never have even heard of unless I entered competitions just by bumping the thread you will probably get more hits than a normal Saturday so whats the problem? It might also interest you to know that google are giving out vouchers left, right and center for free or heavily discounted advertising:)

What a nasty comment heavenli! I did in fact click through to your site, decided NOT to enter the comp (because I didn't like the prize) and then continued browsing the products for sale. So the comp being posted on MSE did in fact result in visitors to your site, as I'm sure other MSE'ers would also have had a click around! Certainly wouldn't consider buying from you now after referring to us as idiots: Bad move in business to let potential customers know that's your opinion of them!:rolleyes:

Just had this email back from this comp,

I am sorry but the competition has had to be cancelled. This is due to members of Money Saving Expert who think that it's okay to bypass the site completely!! I am not in the business of giving stuff away as I am sure you will understand.

I've clicked expired, if a few more do the same it should game over itself.

Edit to add that I have also emailed Heather back to ask that my email address is removed from the database. I certainly wont be visiting that site again. I don't buy from rude people who think its ok to call us idiots.

If your competition was designed to attract customers to your site using derogatory language and calling people idiots will not help to attract customers there may have been numerous people on MSE who like me where curious to see what the competition prize was like and visited your site and had a look around anyway

so you are still sending a great deal of advertising to all of the people who have entered from MSE and by cancelling the competition you have reneged on your part of the bargain and are now receiving the advertising for free

you say on your site

The competition has been cancelled. This is due to cheating by members of Money Saving Expert. I apologise to all the genuine compers who entered.

If anyone feels that they have been cheated it is the members of MSE :rolleyes:

What makes me laugh is this bit on her site -

I guess cos MSE doesnt pay to have their name mentioned, we are not allowed to enter!

Another potential customer lost here too, and all the people i couldve told - MSE has a lot of forum members who will object to being called an idiot so wonderful advertising by pulling the comp and blaming MSE - yes, some people would bypass your site, just think of the many who wouldnt!
