Upvc windows-how to hang nets using rods

Hi all,
Can anyone tell me how I can hang net curtains on UPVC windows using a tension rod? The trouble I am having is on the patio style widows we have in the living room as they are quite wide and from floor to ceiling(almost) and therefore the curtains are quite heavy which causes the rods to bend and fall down.
We have been told by the landlord that we are not allowed to drill holes through the frames or the surround plastic edging and people that have tried drilling through the concrete of the lintel have made a big mess as the concrete just breaks away. I have tried self adhesive hooks but they are no good as they keep falling off.
Why dont the manufacturers just put hooks in the corners of the frames, it would make life so much easier. I can't wait to get my curtains back up as I feel like I'm living in a goldfish bowl.

I'm suprised you've had no luck with the self-adhesive hooks. Have you used the ones that are deliberately designed to hold net curtain rods on upvc windows? I've found they work an absolute treat.0

Thanks for the replies. Where would I get the hooks that are designed specifically for this type of window?I must stop procrastinating, I must stop procrastinating! promise I'll stop tomorrow OK:D

mine came from Wilkinsons - just in the curtain aisle, the same place as they have the rods that hook on them - the whole lot is only a few quid.0
