On occassions I inadvertantly type text in capitals and only notice when I have done a lot of text,(as I type 2 fingers and look at the keyboard rather than the text), is it possible to change upper case into lower case and vice versa without deleteing and doing it again? both in Word and this forum.
Thanks
Thanks

If in MS Word yes just highlight the text then, Format, Change Case.0

In Word, highlight the text then press Shift-F3. This will toggle between lower case, upper case and initial capitals.0

If you look in control panel , under accessibility options, then keyboard tab, look for toggle keys..
this will play a beep then the caps lock is turned on and off and also show a visual warning on screen..
V handy if ya keep pressing the caps lock key0 -
tHANKS FOR THAT,BUT WHAT IF IT WAS LEFT ON CAPS FROM LAST USE AND YOU PUT A LOT OF TEXT IN BEFORE REALISING IT IS IN caps?primeramikey wrote:If you look in control panel , under accessibility options, then keyboard tab, look for toggle keys..

Like I just did in the 2 sentences above :doh:is there a way to change to lower case without delete/retype?
Also can't see a visual warning in Word?Don`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0 -

Im unsure if there is an IE plugin but ya could try this
a nice little program called notetab lite
http://www.notetab.com/ntl.php
if it happens again , just copy all the txt, paste into notetab, then modify menu and choose text case and choose to make it all lower case.. this would be easier than retyping it all0 -
or cut and paste it into Word, change the case and paste it back in here.0
