Bank statement frequency query

I was wondering when a monthly bank statement will be issued. Is it
- the end of the month,
- start of the month, or
- the day I opened my account and montly after that (e.g. a/c opened on 5 Oct, then statement arrives on 5 Nov, etc...)

Can be on any day of the month. For example, for me N&P and Citibank do the first and last days of the month respectively, whereas Lloyds TSB send it on the 15th, and Alliance and Leicester the 9th.
Best to ask your bank43580 -
statements are sent by the cheapest post method there is and can take 10 days to arrive. I'd recommend internet banking0

I do have and use internet banking.
I just want statements so that in the future if I need them, I could show it to them. For example, when applying for something, the bank might want to see 3 months worth of statements, use the statement for proof of address, etc...
I didn't know it can take up to 10 days to arrive. I thought the bank would use 'second class mail' similar to normal mail that we receive/send.0 -

Your statements will be sent at a fixed date which a branch can advise you of.
If needed, you can ask the cashier to amend the date to a more convenient time for you, eg. Start of month if it is currently mid month.0 -
I got my bank statement through the post today.
The bank statement is dated 6/10/2009.
Looks like it's printed on the 6th, but takes a week to be delivered.0 -
I normally get the email from the Halifax telling me that my online bank statement is available on the 2nd of the month (unless the 2nd is a weekend, in which case no later than the 4th).
I have also used print outs of said online statements for official things such as getting a new passport and they have been accepted. They just look like a regular bank statement other than being on Halifax paper."A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge." - Tyrion LannisterMarried my best friend 1st November 2014Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")0 -
My friend is with Lloyds TSB. he used to get a statement about every 6 weeks. He thought that was normal.
I told him to call them and ask for it monthly. He did so and now gets it at the very beginning of the month showing all the transactions of the previous month. There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0
