I am about to spend a few thousand on ebay - is it worth joining Quidco or another cashback site?

I'd say it is. I always use Quidco for Ebay and always get paid. I don't know if there is a limit of how much you can get paid in one deal . Don't forget to clear your cookies before you buy..0

Am a computer technophobe - I use Quidco (didn't know about Ebay but will remember in future) - can you explain in simple terms pls re. 'clearing cookies' and why?
Thanks.

I find the tracking better on Topcashback and the current pay out there is higher than Quidco.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I’m afraid someone would ask that..lol.. Press start - then control panel - then network and internet connections - then internet options - then delete cookies.
Why? Some sort of tech stuff.. I kind of understand but sure someone else can explain better than me. Basically, if you see something on Ebay and want to buy via a cashback site, clear your cookies as above then go through the site.0 -

A cookie is a small file that is left on your PC. When you visit various website they will check that section of the PC to see if one of their cookies is there, or if another cookie is there that has referred you to them.
It is these cookies that allow ebay to track your purchase, assign the revenue share to the relevant company such as quidco, and then allows quidco to pay out your cashback.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -
I've done a number of ebay transactions that have tracked on quidco.
I'm stiill waiting for payment though.
(Remember the cashback is a percentage of the ebay fees, not the value of the purchase.)0 -
Me too.I find the tracking better on Topcashback and the current pay out there is higher than Quidco.
And of course there is no admin fee, which when it is only infrequent little amounts like ebay pay becomes more important. This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine.
