My brother is in HE and has found this website useful for student finance advice:

He's currently using it to get 0% overdraft deals with his bank account. And like a good money saving expert (to be), he's even thinking about transferring the overdraft cash into a high interest paying savings account (or ISA) to make money on the free cash he'll get...!!
