Is it possible?

I would love to put an overbath shower in my bathroom (there isn't room for a cubicle) but my bathroom taps are below the window, which goes the width of the room. The window sill is about a foot deep. What I'm wondering is can I fit a shower on the side wall? And then how do I go about fitting some kind of shower screen to protect the window sill, I'd like a glass screen along the side of the bath I think. Anyway, just looking for some ideas before I go to the showroom and get laughed at because it's impossible.

Also budget isn't really an issue, apart from replacing the window with a smaller one, OH isn't keen on that idea!
Thanks
MM

I am not an expert, but I think you should post some more information:
Is your hot water supply high-pressure or low-pressure?
What kind of shower do you need: electric or mixer?

We've got an electric shower at the "wrong" end of the bath and it's fine.

  • Our hot water is at high pressure, so I don't know if that means we need a certain type of shower. The other option, which my old landlord did, was to build a wall at the opposite end of the bath to the taps and fit a shower to this, as it's open that end, but I was never very keen on that, made the sink area very dark.
