Not quite as big but I saw Thorntons own shops are selling their Christmas selection ½ price - now £5. It contains 442g (£1.13 per 100g). The Tesco offer is 97p per 100g (I think)

Wow, your right! I’ve just been down to Tesco’s and have to say these boxes of chocolates are huge! I was quite surprised actually.

I think I’ll wait more nearer the valid date before I buy some though.

The best before date of these are February 2010.

Just spotted on Mad About Bargains that Thornton's Classic Collection is still on offer according to their website and ends 24/11/09. Appears to be the same offer as it's the 621g boxes they mention at £6 per box.

Will check this tomorrow (11 Nov) as I'll be going to Tesco in the afternoon.

Went to Hounslow this afternoon and on my way I stopped off at Twickenham Extra, Isleworth. I saw these chocolates but unfortunately they are selling for £12. Might be that Mad About Bargains has made a mistake.


I'll be going down to Richmond Metro tomorrow afternoon so will post here if I see anything there.
