I'm not sure about whether this is possible....but as I said before, I'd be interested to know! I already have the account, so am happy to refer someone so we can both get an extra £25. Since this thread isn't really for discussing referals though, please PM me if you'd like me to look into this!

Yes it's possible. I did it last year when Quidco offered £50.

Opened the account online through quidco, then when all my stationary came through, I rang A&L and told them my "friend" (was actually a work colleague I knew banked with them) recommended me. Got £175. Then I opened a savings account with A&L through quidco to get a further £20 cashback. Cha-ching!
