Cheap london rail fares

Help needed please i am travelling to london on the 17th December and returning on the 20th December I have been looking on line at virgin and although they have reduced my return date the outward date is still at the full price Do i book my return date and hope they reduce my outward date or would you advice me to wait and hope they both fall in price I have not booked this way before so i.m not sure how the system works any help appriecated please Thanks Pearl

WAIT. At least for 17th.

Virgin have released weekday fares until 16 December, Saturdays until 12 December and (unusually) Sundays until 20th.

That is assuming you are travelling with Virgin and not just looking up someone else's fares on their web site

Thanks dzugi i m on virgins site looking do i look on somebody elses site i just assumed i would get the best deal of them I will wait till my date 17th comes on before booking thanks Pearl

Just stick with virgins site they may have some very special fares.. Normally they get released 12 weeks but given its closer to the christmas period they may be withholding releasing any..

Thanks geordieracer I will stick with virgin trains Think thats what they are doing with it being so near christmas they are not putting the cheap rates for both ways on together Thanks for your advice Pearl:T
