Hi,
we are looking for a nice sofabed, hoping not to spend more than £300 on it. Does enyone know good deals at the moment?

I just bought a sofabed, they weren't as cheap as I thought. What type are you looking for?
I got mine in the end from Tesco Direct for £224 (plus £11 quidco cashback), used a £5 code to cover the £5 postage cost, and I got a 10% discount voucher when I ordered a Swatch from them. The sofa I got was also on a 33% off deal. Original price £439. (incase anyone comes back at me that the sums don't add up we also had a further 10% staff discount).
I wasn't keen on buying from online, but the ones in the shops seems to start at £500.
I didn't like the Ikea sofa beds, they felt like they would fall to bits after a couple of times of pulling them out.0 -
thx, helping_hubby. I am also surprised by prices and would prefer to wait for Christmas sales, but my brother in low is coming to visit us he has no place to sleep. I am looking similar to the one you bought.Would be happy also with divan bed, they tend to be cheaper, but I imagine they are not so comfortable.0

You could consider a futon? Some people think they are comfortable, but I've not tried them to sleep on. I prefer the bi-fold ones rather than the tri-fold, but the bi-fold ones are wider, so didn't fit in our space we had.
If space is not an issue, then a bed might be better value for money - could you not look out on Freecycle? You could always then just buy a new mattress?0 -
Hi - recently bought a sofa bed from Asda online - very happy with it and only cost £250!!!!0
