We started with just the wii, an extra controller and wii sports. Nothing else. You still have bowling, tennis, boxing to keep you occupied for a bit - not to mention creating little wii characters for each person who plays on it!

Then a couple of months later we got Mario Karts and the wheels.

My girls love the Wii from playing it at their cousins houses. Mario Karts and Ski Jumping especially! My fave by far was the Yoga thing. How long can you sit still and be quiet? GENIUS!. Thats why we want a balance board :rotfl:

I would suggest getting rechargeable batteries and a charger for the wii motes - saves you in the long run!

We like "Family ski and Snowboard", you can use that with the balance board, or just the controllers.
