ROTFL..one might as well nominate Saddam Hussein...!
It makes a mockery of the system. A man who has hardly been in the job a year, hasnt done that much, and from the only country in the world that thought it ok to detonate atomic warheads killing thousands and poisoning thousands of others for decades.0 -
In other news 3 year old Peter Jones* won the Nobel Chemistry prize. Judges said he plays with his chemistry set all day and they think he might do something in the future.
I like Obama, but this is premature.
* not the one from Dragons' Den0 -
and in other news....
Vatican considering Obama for sainthood. In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:0 -
Nobel prize has lost its charm.Happiness is buying an item and then not checking its price after a month to discover it was reduced further.0

I do hope this isn't racially motivatedSpace available for rent0

Perhaps the Nobel prizegivers are trying one last desperate attempt to teach the Americans the meaning of irony.18 May 2007 (start of Mortgage):
Coventry Offset Mortgage £220800
Offset Savings: £0
Mortgage Balance: £220,800
14 Jan 08
Coventry Offest Mortgage: 219002
Offset Savings: 28200
Mortage Balance: £190802
And still chucking every spare penny into it!0 -

What a lot of cynics you all are.
I think it sends the right message, and is at least as good as many of the rest.0
