  • There is a note on my council tax file explaining my situation. The woman I need to speak to is out of the office until 2pm.
I just want to give up today.

    *Yawn* afternoon all.

Bookie, I'm really sorry they're putting you through so much crap *hugs*.

    Welcome TCW.

Snags, sorry to hear about Tash.

    Maz, well done, brilliant news!

Elfin hope you feel better soon.

Well, I didn't get back till 4.30 this morning, so I think I'm off back to bed in a min. Got to take sis to morrisons later, then I'm going to the theatre.

Nearly hit a deer (or fawn, I'm not sure when it changes from one to the other) on the way there, had to brake hard, luckily the guy behind did too. And the ice warning kept coming on on the way back, eek.

Driving through studentville a lot, I'm used to people giving me dirty looks when they have to move out of my way (how shocking, a car in the middle of the road, how dare I). Now even the foxes are doing it! One had to move out of my way last night and just stood at the side of the road glaring at me till I'd gone and it could trot back out into the road!
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

  • @ Maz - Aw, well done! That's brilliant! :j :j :j :grouphug:

I've lost my flaming mobile!!! So this afternoon will be spent tidying my room, trying to find it. I did mean to get a new phone (and tidy my room) but I didn't fancy being forced into doing it.

  • @ elfen - Have you tried Weetabix? That's usually good for if you can't keep things down. If not, try some herbal tea (preferably something with ginger in it) with sugar in. At least the sugar will give you a bit of energy for a little while. If that doesn't work or you haven't got any, just keep on with water to keep your fluid levels up.

Tried Weetabix for brekkie, they came straight back up (maybe TMI, but as soon as I'd put the bowl in the dishwasher, I had to go to the loo) I hate ginger, so I won't go near it ,but I am still drinking, mainly Ribena

Fair enough, at least you're having something. Make sure you keep drinking though (sorry if I'm being bossy :o ).
