Well done Maz, loads of congratulations.
Keep the habits, though, don't fall off the wagon.0 -
Ugh, fell absolutely wretched. Had a mank cough start up, been feeling ill and many since yesterday (had to go to uni to pick up crappy lappy and STL of £50) and since then I've been laid up curled up on the sofa in a blanket shivering. Can't keep a thing down (believe me I've tried)** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **

I do it all because I'm scared.

Well done Maz :j What a nice start to your new life.
Elfen - hope you feel better soon.
Snaggs - How's N today?
Finally had my tax credits confirmed in writing, all makes sense, for once, so will take the payments thank you very much!
Had an emailed apology from the Dr we saw on Tuesday, DH is still fuming but at least he apologised.
Spoke to Kings College today - DH's notes have been through first stage meeting and passed direct to the surgical team (which is what we wanted) so we now wait for the appointment and try and get the insurance company to cover it privately.
I went to bed with the start of a migrene last night, slept for 2 hours, woke up dripping in sweat but felt fine....most strange.
Small cat (the one on the sofa looking cosy) brought in another rat this morning....it was nearly as big as him and he'd had to get it up a fence and on a roof and through a top window....nice..."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
Sorry Fermi - it was meant to be the daily chat - didn't know how to name the thread - I've not done it before! How exciting - starting the daily chat :T - wasn't really awake enough to appreciate it earlier.
OOOOOH and well done Maz - how exciting- what you gonna do now? have a virtual buscuit? :rotfl:seriously I think you deserve a real one for that. Wooohooo. Maybe you can save for a dream holiday/house/ something else exciting.

She's not very well Pooky
, neither of us went to sleep last night, she was crying in pain every time she wet her nappy even a tiny bit (which is at least once an hour, sometimes much more).
We ran out of nappies at about 4am, had to text the ex to ask him to drop some off on his way to work (at 6am, which he did, bless him).
Am eternally grateful to Jacs for her suggestion of putting calamine into a spray bottle - she couldnt tolerate being touched in the worst areas so it was a fantastic idea.
Not quite sure how she's still awake but she's still very uncomfortable today, and looks exhausted. I'm also looking after my neighbours daughter, who has chicken pox too, so no hope of a nap!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

Bookie - can you phone the council and tell them what's going on? I would also write and explain that the job centre have been such muppets and that you finally have it all sorted with them and now you want to sort out the council tax etc?
Maybe your friendly MP can help again?
You'll get there.
