External DVD writer - is it any good?

Looking to purchase a DVD writer, preferably external and came across this one and wondered if it was any good/ anybody have experience of this model? as I ahve no experience of DVD wroters and not sure what to look out for.

Many thanks for the manufacturers website, as a result managed to find a review of it, looks like I might be popping down to Maplins tomorrow.
