He did send one post which seems not to have gone down well.
There are a lot of threads scattered around on the Tesco issue - perhaps you would be better asking the question in site feedback? Personally, I would make a politer request than your thread title if you do want a response.0 -
I don't think Martin owes us an apology, I think the greedy idiots who go shopping with £50 of non-product spend vouchers are the ones who need to apologise. If it was just the odd one or two vouchers per spend- do you think Tesco would waste their time pulling the policy? I don't! Its the selfish people who have ruined it for all of us, not Martin!0

He didn't make them abandon their policy, it's been said a number of times on these boards, even by people who work at Tescos, that it's been under discussion a long time. There have been links to articles in retail magazines where manufacturers have been considering legal action against supermarkets and finally there was the massive abuse of the Pedegree vouchers.
Why on earth should Martin apologise for a loophole which clearly wasn't sustainable closing and one which manufacturers have been making increasing noise about?
Instead of whinging about the situation, how about being thankful that you were able to profit from it in the first place?“Don't do it! Stay away from your potential. You'll mess it up, it's potential, leave it. Anyway, it's like your bank balance - you always have a lot less than you think.”

Here here, I don't think Martin has anything to apologise for - this wasn't his doing. It was a loophole, not a god given right anyway - whilst it was there if you took advantage of it you gained something you wouldn't have otherwise. As with all loopholes you enjoy it whilst it lasts and when it ends move on, not go blaming people that haven't done anything wrong and expecting apologies.
This was always going to happen, and some people's abuse of the loophole probably did speed it up, but is it truly worth wasting the energy blaming people? The "Bloodlust" Clique - Morally equal to all.
