Can anyone reccomend a good company they use for Spread betting?
I currently use Hoodless and Brennan for my shares who are fantastic but they don't appear to offer Spread betting.
Many thanks

I use IG Index and CapitalSpreads no probs with either - stable web portals and IG offer a guaranteed stop loss level on their 'Newbie' account.
Fast free transfer of funds out and in.
ALL spreadbet companies are financial bookies and as such will offer a 'price' that 'reflects' the current market.
IT IS VERY VERY difficult to beat them regularly.
BE prepared to lose some or all of your money.

I have one company ive lost money in with shares, the leftovers I have i would like to invest on a loss spread bet and try and recoup a bit of it.
If I lose it all then i'm prepared for that
But i am 100% certain this company has a serious drop coming up!
Think ill give IG a try, just filling in the registration forms now. Thanks snax0 -

Based on market performance this last week, that's not a bet ..... it's a cert !! (always provided, of course, the 'serious drop' is not already past?)If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0 -
If you are insistent on spread betting, open more than one account, as you often get better prices from one than the other. Also, if you are looking at shares/indices, then CFDs are often a cheaper way to gain the exposure.
None of these are for the faint-hearted and/or inexperienced investor. Read the wealth warnings, your losses are potentially unlimited. Be careful out there.I'm an Investment Manager.
