    I also run a dehumidifier in winter this helps control my condensation and I tend to open the windows on warmer days for shorter periods to help with heat loss
    Look after the pennies and the pounds will spend themselves

    The problem is not heating but the ventilation of the property.There are a number of cost effective ventilation solutions available.Look at the Home 'N' Dry unit from Johnson and Starley check out their website
