first plus

hi ,ive recieved a third letter from first plus saying they need another 4 weeks to investigate as they have not completed all aspects of the investigation (thier words) ..it is now on week 8 ,do you think i should wait or get it straight in to the ombudsman , any advice ????? Thanks Sunny

    Hi there

    You are entitled to take your case to the FOS as long as the 8 weeks have passed, but it may take a little longer as well, due to some postal disputes, you could always ring them if you want to, they may give you some sort of idea on your complaint.

    Hi Sunny

    I'm sure others will tell you this is FP just delaying you. They did this with me and your next letter will be that they don't agree with your claim. I have now sent two since they rejected my claim, one via email, the other by recorded delivery and have no response. I have however referred this to the FOS and they have said it may take 2 months to resolve.

    Can anyone tell me if FP will respond as this is now with the FOS?

    hi putty yeah you were rite recieved rejection letter last week ,ive sent a letter back giving them two weeks to respond but not heard any thing yet so it looks like fos ,musy admit i hoped it wouldnt have to go this far ,especially as there letter saying no had loads of mistakes in it which i have proof to back up and it my second letter i pointed all these out to them ,as for will they respond to fos i think theyve got to Good Luck Sunny
