parcelforce delivered my wii package from game on tues whilst i was out unbeknown to me. they had not pushed the card fully through the letter box and i only discovered it when the postie pushed through my post the day after. the card said that they had left it in my back garden. i went out to retrieve it and found the package in my flower bed - it was wet through and the cardboard box was falling to bits - everything inside had been water damaged. i have been emailing game for 2 days and have had no response - there is no telephone number on the site. i am unable to visit the shop as i could not carry it with my toddler in the pushchair. any advice anybody???

I would imagine that the issue is more with parcelforce than game, haveyou tried ringing game? Emails usually take a while to repond to (most sites state 72 hours or something like that for a reply)0

While it might be Parcelforce's fault, the OP doesn't have a contract with them - it's with GAME. Therefore I think she needs to be complaining to GAME - they are the ones that have the contract with Parcelforce, so it's them that need to sort it out0 -
p00hsticks is correct. You have purchased an item from Game, and it is up to them and the parties they contract with to, to get that item to you in good condition.
If the item does not arrive in that condition then it is the responsibility of Game to arrange actions to correct the situation. Be that by arranging for a new item to be sent out, the old one collected or whatever.
Put the ball firmly back in their court to resolve.0 -

But it didnt arrive in bad condition, It was in the garden for a few days before it was discovered. Its not GAMES fault the OP didnt discover the card at first.0 -
No, its Parcelforces fault for leaving the package in an unsuitable place where it could get damaged, which therefore means it's ultimately down to GAME to pursue the issue with Parcelforce.0

Do not contact PF, PF have a contract with Game, it is down to Game to issue a claim with PF and get refunded - you just need Game to send you a new item and collect the damaged one.0

What goes through someone mind to think that a flowerbed is a suitable place to leave anything other than manure.
They give proper couriers a bad name...Muppets0 -

Quite correct! Parcels from Game require a signature from the recipient and should, under no circumstances, be left without a signature.
Whilst your contract is with Game, if you are having no joy with them it is worth contacting the PF depot, especially as you have the card to prove that the parcel was left without signature. They do sometimes have the ability to contact the sender on your behalf and arrange for a new parcel to be sent out. This is a clear breach of procedure by the driver and should result in disciplinary action.0 -

no but game select the courier
they also use a service requiring a signature
unless game specifically inform the courier they can 'leave safe' then the courier hasnt done as required
its down to PF/game to argue it out.not the buyer0 -

Do Game not normally wrap their parcels in an outer plastic layer?
What does the Parcelforce tracking number say has happened to your parcel?0
