Hola,
I've been using Thunderbird email client now for years, I want a change and it annoys me how much room thunderbird takes up even after compacting the folders and cleaning up emails etc.
I've got Outlook 2003 here, installed it, setup the 4 seperate email acounts we use but I see that it doesnt split the acounts up like thunderbird does. With outlook I have 1 inbox which is a 'group' inbox for all the acount setup. Can I have 4 seperate inbox/sent items/trash boxs with Outlook?
I'm sure I can as we used to do that at work for all the seperate departments within our building. I cant find how to do it though, need help please.
Thx,
T4i

Have you upgraded thunderbird? I use it and would not swap back!Don't lie, thieve, cheat or steal. The Government do not like the competition.

I'm sorry, I don't apologise. That's just the way I am. Homer (Simpson)0 -
I'm using 1.5, after having another look at Outlook I may just stick with Thunderbird.0

I do it by creating inbox sub folders first for the accounts.
Then I create a rule for each account that basically says whenever an e-mail with (insert the address here) in the address comes in, move it to the folder you want it to go to.
If you still want to do it rather than use Thunderbird I will explain in more detail but I am not going to give all the instructions if you don't need them now. Just to say that it is possible.0 -
just create seperate profiles for each account. When you log onto Outlook you'll have a drop down box where you can choose which profile you want.0
