Can anyone shed light on why I only get 50% signal and lots of pixelation from passing traffic? My adjacent neighbour gets 80% signal and no problems. I have a booster and splitter box for the bedroom tv digibox and front room lcd tv with freeview built in, with a high gain aeriel on the roof (3 storey house).
You can imagine how irritating it is.
We've considered going to cable but there are many bad tales of them and sky too.
Anyone got info on freesat, would that be the way to go?
Many thanks for your help.:hello:0 -

Trees or other obstruction between you and the transmitter that aren't an issue for your neighbour?
You have your aerial directed away from the transmitter, or at the 'wrong' transmitter?
Cheap or badly designed booster/splitter? Try one of the TVs on its own with just the aerial, or with a booster only to test this out.
Poor quality cable between the aerial, booster/splitter and the TVs?
Poor connections between the cable and the co-axial plugs?0 -
OP if your parents are on certain benefits they may be entitled to get a freeview box supplied and fitted, with a new areal if necessary for nothing. Or a freesat box is only £14.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.
