Can someone please go to https://www.aol.co.uk and click on the email icon at the top of the screen please?

I'm trying to log on to retrieve my email but all I'm getting is a continuous white screen and the address bar continually goes in a loop as if it is trying to load.

It's been like this since yesterday and I thought it would've been fixed by now if it was a problem with them.

I'm wondering if I have a problem on my computer that's causing it.

Could someone else try for me please to see if works for them?

Thank you. :)

Small update: Still can't access Aol from Internet Explorer but I've just downloaded Firefox and I can log on now.

Must be a problem with I.E. but the strange thing is I can get on other sites with no problem, it's just Aol that seems to be affected. ???

Try clearing IE's cache. Start IE and click on the Tools menu, scroll down to Internet Options and then click the 'Delete Files' button. Tick the box that says 'Offline content' as well if it gives you the option. If that doesn't work, try going to the same place and clicking the 'Delete Cookies' button instead.

Of course, now you're running a decent browser (Firefox) you probably won't want to bother. If you don't get on with Firefox, try Opera instead (my fave).

    Thanks Malestrom.

I tried what you suggested but it didn't make any difference, the page just still continually acts as though it's reloading itself. :-/

Firefox seems ok, but it's slow at loading pictures of any kind.
There seems to be a slight lag when a page loads. Don't know if that's normal fot Firefox of if it's my pc again. :-/

Just downloaded opera to see what that's like.

    Thanks again for reply.

Firefox is usually much faster than IE.

It may appear slower because of the way it works- firefox will display the text immediately before the images are ready while IE works differently, showing you a blank screen till it has everything organized

you could try downloading ccleaner which gets rid of an amazing amount of junk in a few seconds. I highly recommend it
