Had letter this morning Barclaycard offering the full amount plus interest, total sum made up £20 and £12 charges.

MBNA have said, they consider their their charges fair, all £12 so "go away" basically. How come one lot pays up, the other doesn't and can anyone tell me how they have succeeded with MBNA please?

If barclaycard charged £20 amounts this may be considered far more unfair than £12 charges, so if the MBNA disputed balance is made up of entirely £12 charges and no £20 charges they don't see a reason to refund.

Litigation threat may be the next step ;)
