hiya, i have purchased something online, which was advertised at what was quite obviously the wrong price, i was invoiced at wrong price and paid through paypal, have reciept etc, what hapens now, will they have to continue with the transaction or could they cancel it, i dont mind cancelling,but im worried they will try to take the full price from my account, even though i paid through paypal,

can someone help me please.......

    From what you'e said, I'm assuming that you haven't received the goods yet.

    Under the Distance Selling Regulations, I believe the consumer (i.e. you) has a 7 day cooling-off period but not the seller.

    I'd see what happens, they may just send the goods to you.
    But do keep an eye on the account that you paid from.

    Just a thought:
    are you 100% sure that the company priced it incorrectly? i.e. it's not a copy?

    no i havent recieved the goods yet, im aware that they arent obliged to sell at marked price if incorrect, but if the transaction has gone through,

    i paid through paypal, so am hoping they cannot take more than specified amount, they cant, can they ??????? will justhave to see what happens, they may realise mistake and contact me before hand.......thanks again..x

    Have a read of the terms and conditions on the website, It more than likely says something to the effect that no contract arises until the goods are despatched, in which case they are quite likely to cancel the transaction once they realise the pricing problem

    So kbad, it sounds like the worst case scenario is that the company will refuse to despatch the goods and give you a refund - which you state you'd be happy with.
